Fighting small venues for about five years, Drew finally got the
call to the big show to fight at 205lbs. vs. Alessio Sakara in
UFC® 65: BAD INTENTIONS. With a TKO win over Sakara in the
first round, Drew showed the world that he belongs in the UFC.
Moving to the 185lb. weight class,(the weight class he prefers)his
next bout was against Martin Kampmann in UFC® 68: THE UPRISING.
Losing due to an arm triangle in 4:06 of the first round, Drew
still left his his mark with his striking skills. In the post-fight
interview the mui-thai specialist Kampmann said "That guy
hits like a horse kicks!"
Drew proved it in UFC® Fight Night™10 against Jordan
Radev. Knocking the Bulgarian out in less than 33 seconds. |
